Kitchen Team Leader Overview

We are hiring a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the leader of Granny's Kitchen, home of all tasty treats at Millstone Creek Orchards. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the production of our fan favorite apple cider donuts and other sweet treats as well as support all other kitchen operations during our peak season. We're looking for someone who has a passion for being in the kitchen, enjoys baking and culinary arts, exemplifies strong organizational skills, and is committed to delivering exceptional quality products.

Responsibilities of Granny's Kitchen Team Leader:

Apple Cider Donut Production: Oversees the production of apple cider donut batter and glaze, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
Inventory Management: Maintains accurate inventory records of all kitchen supplies, ingredients, and finished products.
Kitchen Operations: Coordinates daily kitchen activities, including but not limited to food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and sanitation.
Quality Control: Implements and enforces quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of food safety and product quality.
Team work: Collaborates well with other team members to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
Customer Service: Interacts with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing information about our products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Previous experience in a culinary or food production role preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership and team work abilities.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
